At Maiden Newton Garage Ltd, we are a family run business in rural Dorset approximately 10 minutes from the county town Dorchester. The Andrews family have been providing a high standard of services within the trade and the local community for over 30 years.

There has now been three generations of Andrews family offering  servicing, repairs, and MOT's to cars and light commerical vehicles to the local community. 

 

Mike and Melodie Andrews bought the premisies, both the workshop and forecourt, in the 1990's. After the passing of Mike Andrews in 2011, Olly Andrews (son) took over as joint owner, developing the whole site, the forecourt, forecourt shop, and workshop. 

 

Towards the end of 2021 the freehold was sold to Wessex Retail (Spar), however the workshop remained under the control and ownership of the Andrews family, and newly formed as Maiden Newton Garage Ltd. Olly Andrews continues as owner and Managing Director.

 

We are proud that the next of the Andrews family, Joel Andrews (grandson) is now in his final years of his mechanic apprenticeship at Maiden Newton Garage Ltd.

Our senior technician Dave Hewson trained by Mike Andrews and carried out his full apprenticeship with us nearly 30 years ago, has been serving the local community with is mechanic skills to present.
